Installing the KazStamp 9 toolbar into
Outlook 2000, XP or 2003:
These instructions explain how to install a toolbar and macros in Microsoft
Outlook 2000, Outlook XP or Outlook 2003 that allow you to "send" a contact to
KazStamp. KazStamp already has the ability to "get" one or more
contacts from Microsoft Outlook 2000, Outlook XP or Outlook 2003 by using the
File > Import Outlook Contacts
command on the KazStamp toolbar. Only follow the instructions below if you want
to "send" a contact from Outlook 2000, Outlook XP or Outlook 2003 to KazStamp. In
addition, you should be comfortable working with
Microsoft Office macros before proceeding.
Please note that Microsoft
Office 2007 dramatically
changed the user interface by combining menus and toolbars into what they call
the "Ribbon".
As a result, the current version of KazStamp is not compatible with Office 2007.
By default, Outlook macro security is set to "high" which may prevent the
KazStamp macro from working properly. For more information, along with
instructions to set the security to "medium", see
Microsoft article 295955.
These instructions assume that you have KazStamp
8.5c or KazStamp
9.0 installed. These
instructions also assume that KazStamp was installed in the default folder:
c:\program files\kazstamp
If you installed to a different folder, substitute that folder name in
the instructions below.
